Delray Beach, FL, August 3, 2007—Cavit Sciences, Inc. (“Cavit”) (OTCBB: CVIT) today announced the synergism of its compounds in treating and preventing degenerative diseases.

On June 14, 2007, Cavit announced testing results of its leading product candidate, CT-5, in treating cancer and viral infections. Indications include inhibition of virus replication, inhibition of metastasis of melanoma, suppression of tumor metastasis, potent activity against tumor growth and significantly increased survival rates of subjects. Trials have shown that the drug is well tolerated and have demonstrated its safety.

On July 12, 2007, Cavit announced the filing of its continuation-in-part applications, which included 19 additional compounds and numerous additional indications including the treatment of opportunistic infections and increasing the efficiency of the immune system.

The 19 additional compounds consist of natural extracts, synthetic organic products, whole cell preparations, polysaccharides, acids, antibiotics, biological-response-modifiers and traditional herbal medicines. Administered independently or employed with other therapies, these compounds have achieved the proven results listed below:

1) Act as biological-response-modifiers (“BRM”). BRM’s are substances that can enable the body to change its response to tumors, resulting in therapeutic benefits. They do not directly attack cancer and viral cells; instead, they stimulate the body’s immune system, making it potentially effective in the treatment of cancer as well as other degenerative diseases.

2) Stimulate the production of interferon. Interferon’s most important function is to augment and stimulate the body’s production of natural killer (“NK”) cells, which directly combat cancer cells. Interferon plays an important part in our immune system, and is recognized as a powerful anticancer agent.

3) Enhance the immune system and restore previously impaired immune response, making patients less susceptible to certain infections. Beneficial effects on the maintenance of the patients’ immune status and general health.

4) Immunomodulators for control of infections with various immunomodulatory activities.

5) Therapeutic activity against opportunistic infections.

6) Inhibition of tumor growth, a decrease in metastasis and prolonged survival times.

7) Antiviral activities, anti-bacterial activities, anti-inflammatory activities and immunopotentiating activities.

8) Immuno-restorative effect in those people receiving radiation treatment after surgery and increase in white blood cell count.

9) Relief of pain associated with various human malignancies.

Research suggests that the conjugation, combination or employing certain of the above compounds in conjunction with other traditional therapies could aggressively treat various cancers, bacterial infections, viral infections and related diseases. Various combinations of the above compounds may possibly exert a synergistic effect on certain indications. The underlying principle of Cavit’s combination therapy is to improve the resistance of the patients through the pharmaceutical action of these compounds or to restore the patient to a normal physiological state.

We are working towards the goal of having treatments available to patients and individuals for the prevention and treatment of diseases in the U.S. and worldwide in a rapid and cost-effective manner.
